Ériu is an important platform for dedicated Irish dancers to develop professional careers centred on artistic excellence, & integrity. The foundation for this professional development is Na Mic Ua gCorra – Ériu Dance Company’s Youth Branch.

Developed in partnership with Earagail Arts Festival, Na Mic Ua gCorra’s home base is Goath Dobhair. The youth company celebrates the local traditional performance arts of the Northwest through new and innovative ways – reinventing and reinvigorating the music, song, dance, and oral arts, and making work that is relevant for younger generations.

Ériu has ambitious plans for Na Mic Ua gCorra in the coming years, including the development of regional hubs around the country, international partnerships, and the development of full-length productions, giving youth company members the opportunity to work semi-professionally through regular training, mentoring, and performance opportunities.
